Wheels should fit even with ballooning tires with a high offset like that.

    Keen for pics.

I'm certainly no expert, sir, but I'd imagine even 195's wouldn't scrub at all. 1 1/2" of drop is not a lot. You should be well in the clear, i'd imagine.
        Happy to be corrected though!

if you want to go really low (most probably on coilovers) you'll have to space those wheels out about 10mm (min) to clear the strut.

I'd also look at running a smaller size/profile tyre, to avoid scrubbing issues when you're really low.

If you're only going to drop it 1.5 inches (most probably on springs) they should clear fine, although I'd recommend a 185/60/14 to again minimise chances of rubbing on 'softer/worn/older' suspension. 195's might give you slight issues.

            HTH.

I think the bloke you bought it off must have put some work into it (for RWC), it's a great base for a project!

Nice Little car man, v. strait and good looking interior, its a good start by the looks of it! My car had a roadworthy from NSW and it didnt pass here. They pulled me up on indicators not flashing correctly and bright enough, Seatbelts not retracting fast enough, Steering to the right whilst braking ( which it didnt, im pretty sure it was wheel alignment), and oil on the engine/gearbox at the bottom(which i fixed). So make sure the bay is clean. Dont be surprised if they pull you up on a few things! My car Passed the second time around without any worry. So thats all good. Hopefully yours passes well!
