  • Mk1 16v Headers??

Right guys where do I get them from, not paying the ridiculous prices to get them made over here in Kiwiland so looking abroad.

Tried Eurosport but they seem to list shipping as the same price as the headers....... and can't find an email for them.

    Anywhere else?

The problem with MK1 16V headers is that most are designed around LHD installations and don't usually fit as well on a RHD car.

Supersprint in Italy make them for the Scirocco 16V which would do. There is a firm in the UK called Ashley that do them. I have used an Ashley header and they are cheap (200 quid) for a reason.

By the time you had got some shipped over they would be like 750 AUD and I reckon I could have some made here for that. I paid 1900 for a turbo back system on my A3 in 3 inch stainless.

The other way to go, which would be quite a bit cheaper is to mate the std cast manifold to a built up downpipe.

I believe that raceland make a copy off the mk1 supersprint headers. G60 Jay has a set on his 16v, i will also be buying a set later this year as i know they are half the price with the same quality build cause i've had them in my hands and looked at them b4 they were fitted.
Jason also told me that they build a set for mk1 rhd conversions which is what i have.
They are stainless and tig welded and in my view very well made and well priced at around $500 Aud.

Don't know the link but google raceland and you should find them.

      Cheers Dave

Replied to your PM... Eurosport postage is expensive - all the good US companies use FedEx, UPS or DHL and you get what you pay for. USPS is crap

Try the Techtonics Tuning 16v street header also

If they're available in the UK, then they're available in Australia and NZ.
