  • Bearings re usable?

Curious to know if you Press out the hub from the hub carrier and bearings, if the bearings them self will be damaged?

Obviously pressing the hubs in to bearings should be same as pressing them out... yes?

Just one of those stupid questions really haha

I'd guess it's a case of "while you're there, you might as well...".

Buy some new bearings, dude. Don't even question things like that- It's not worth having to do it twice.

just put two new ones in the front myself. pretty sure once you press them out they are no good (one-use deal).

from memory all front bearings are the same in a mk1

The bearing is always destroyed when you press out the hubs.

There's no way to support the inner race on the flange side and it comes out still attached to the hub.

Al MK1 Wheel bearings are the same and Daewoo has an identical wheel bearing if you get stuck.
