Quick question out there ... will a negative camber on the front wheels give less steering controll in wet conditions ? like going around a corner it likes to go straight so it means i have to take it gentle , as i have found on my car ! i have never got it back to stock but would like to know the tyre pressure ect ? cheers

The car got big strut braces; upper or lower? They can stiffen up the front 'too much' if the rear is still loose.
Negative camber and castor might help it, tires and tire-pressure would too, obviously.
Might have too much toe, in or out. If it's toed in, one wheel would be pointing straighter than the opposite entering a corner, hence understeer, especially on throttle.

I used to run these specs (roughly), I got them off Tim a while back, and I think a few other people run it too.
Rear you can't change, if something looks wrong, get it measured up, you might have to shim it opr replace parts etc, if the rear alignment is out of whack (badly)
Front:
Camber: -1 to -1.5,generally enough for the street.
Castor: set.
toe: 0 (pretty sure)
Tyre pressures, on a 14" wheel I ran about 35psi (depending on the tyre), on my 15's I ran a little more. Play with the pressure's a bit, you should be able to feel what feels nice/too soft/too hard etc.

Front axle :-
Total toe angle of front wheels : ( wheels not pressed ) -15' + 10 ' - 15'
( Wheels pressed ) + 10' +/- 15'
Pressure applied to wheels for pressing 10 +/- 2 Kg's
Max permissable total toe angle difference between pressed and unpressed 20'
Front camber in straight ahead position +20' +/- 30'
Max difference between sides 1 degree.
( + camber wheels lean OUT at top, - camber wheels lean IN at top )
Max offset between stub axles in direction of motion 5 mm max
Rear axle :-
Camber of rear axles -1deg15' +/- 35'
Max camber difference between sides 40'
total toe out of rear wheels +20' +/- 30'
Deviation from driving direction ( max difference in toe) 30'Lots of MK 1 Scirocco's...
If it aint a MK 1 then it must be a donor car ??
