It was part trade for the mk 2 I know own. I do miss my diesel though! I hope to own another some day.

Cabby went in for RWC today, and over all went quite well.

                Needs:
                windscreen
                minor exhaust leak fixed
                1 rear shock

                Over all pretty happy.

It's a nice little car to putt around in. Needs quite a few 'loose ends' tied up & a bit of cosmetic & mechanical love (needs service/tune) but it's a good little car, that's for sure. Here's hoping the modding bug doesn't bite too hard, or it'll end up with a 2L big valve head & phat Kjet!

I'm not happy with the brakes, Had them bled today, which improved it alot, but still not so good. The discs and pads are fine at the front and the drums have plenty of bite, I'll have to inspect the wheel cyl's & if they're fine, I might pop a larger booster in to give better feel. Will definately need some suspension, not used to having a car that handles like standard!

                  Good to hear dude!
Is it running K-Jet? Funnily enough windscreen and exhaust leak are going to be the last things for RWC that i've got to do too!
Needing 1x rear shock warrants buying hottunings lol.
I'd like to do a booster upgrade too.

I see your diesel bloody everywhere by the way.
Walking through Borders... VWMA on the shelf with your car on the cover.
Looking at drop plates and strut tower extenders on Old Skool VulcanWerks... there's your car again. haha.

hahah, cheers Jace. I was pretty happy with seeing it in VWMA that's for sure. Although there's a new one out, and I'm pretty sure I'm not in that one! haha.

Not getting hottunings again, want to try something more upmarket.

                      Good for you!
That was my plan too, I was aiming for KW V1's, or Weitec equivalent etc. Hard to pass up a bargain though.
