I have made a few calls to VW and they have the ht lead ends for $16. was thinking of replacing the lot as i've repaired one of them already pain in the ass cause i wan'ted to, no no, needed to keep the clip off the end to reuse. Would luv a set of 10mm i've seen in one of my books, in the uk though.
AND THANKS FELLOW MEMBERS FOR THE 'S
And to get so many replies.

Good on ya bro, its a damn impressive project and a damn sight easier and registerable mounting the body onto a separate chassis like you have. Keep up the good work.
