Looks awesome! Is that HDR processing?

Pity it sorta highlights the dent in the front apron.

    Awesome car.

That's an awesome photo. Really impressive work. To the guy that took/edited it mind sharing your camera specs/settings and editing program/s used?

          hey guys,

          so im ben... haha

thats just a quick edit for now, so that dent will be getting the photoshop treatment

In terms of how it was shot; Yes it is an HDR. I took about 10 photos of it whilst varying the shutter speed to change the exposure (from memory the camera was on ISO100, f/9, white balance was locked off as was the focus). Once that was done I ran the photos through photoshop to create the HDR (>File>Automate>Merge to HDR)

Once I had the photoshop Radiance file (its what you save HDRs or 32-bit files as from photoshop), I took it into Photomatix Pro to begin tonemapping the image.
Once that was done I went back into photoshop to tweak the levels and colours a bit, whilst also removing the blue/purple colour cast on the car.

          Hope that helps...

would love to hear feeback on how people think it could be improved too. (also stay tuned for a 3D version )

          cheers

thanks for the kind words guys.

camera was a nikon D90, and the lens is a basic zoom (at about 50mm maybe? dont remember..)
But this can be done on any camera with basic exposure control!

Haha yes!! I just dug up some old rice bubble glasses from when I was really young, looks awesome. Although things like the concrete in the foreground appear further away than the actual car does. How was it achieved?
