  • 8V fuel pump block off plate

Im in search of a block off plate for the fuel pump on an 8V. going the electric pump route, so no need for the mechanical one and less **** hanging off the motor the better.
i can't find anywhere that has them. google has failed me.
Is there anyone that sells these? or will i have to make one up?

What engine code do you have? Is it from a Golf 2 or Golf 3.
The earlier engines have a simple block off plate that the kjet pressure sensor can bolt to.
These came on Audis and Mk2s, I should have a couple of em somewhere.
The later ones have a big breather tube, which would be harder to block off, I have seen plates for these for sale in the USA.

The motor is a Audi 1.9 SD. Its only a small hole to block off. I'm sure at some stage someone else has gone from mechanical fuel pump to electrical, so there should be something out there. But i guess you could just leave the old pump there pumping air with nothing connected to it.
I have been thinking i might just get a piece of metal laser cut to size, shouldn't be too expensive.
