I live in the UK (Yorkshire to be presice).
I am hoping that someone can help and guess I am appealing to the US and Australia. I have recently bought a VW Citi (Mk1) from South Africa. It is a 2009 VW Citi Mk1 special edition. Its one of the last 1000 made. Production on the VW Mk1 ended in 2009. I have had it shipped over to the UK.
We have strange laws in the UK that seem to treat that import as being some sort of commercial import and not a personal import.
As a result I have to show that the car meets various standards - has anyone ever found crash test results for the Mk1 - if so please email me. Of is anyone has any documentary evidence that the car meets the following standards please email me:
Braking - (USA) FMVSS 135 or FMVSS 105 or (Australia) ADR 31/01
Frontal Impact - (USA) FMVSS 208 or (Australia) ADR 73/00
Side impact - (USA) FMVSS 214 or (Australia) ADR 72/00
