My name is Gunther ze German Golf.
Ive started life as a 1976 2door with an underpowered 1.6lt engine. My life almost ended a few months ago, but luckily a nice bloke picked me up and is gonna change me for the better. You can say a *&^%ing big make over.
My new owner promised to remove the rust spots ive got, and rip those ugly oversized bumpers off me, almost like lipo suction. A new paint job is on the cards after my body is prepared for the big day.
I will definitely get new wheels and my interior will also get changed. Bigger brakes and better suspension will also be added.
Like most Golf's my age my old owner didnt look after me, so like all mistreated Mk1s I need some TLC.
I cant tell you guys too much about my engine, but my new owner has been talking to Golfloon quite a bit........ (makes me very very excited and scared at the same time).
I know this project will take time (money), but if I can wait from 1976 for the best owner ever then I can probably wait another few years for my transformation.
