its a bbs bodykit, and yes, same kit as the topgear one, i really really like it, especially because its something diffrent and period for the car's year and style

itll look insane all nice painted white and shiny, slammed on my phase 2's! worked 16v on 48mm twin carbs!

Would love a 16S, or even a replica. But trying to find the right badges, instrument cluster etc will be hard!

Only 4000 ever made.


If I get some free time, I may do a thread about the 16S. Found some good sites with plenty of info & pics.

Hey mate, i love your ideas for the cabab. I have basically the same grill/xhair setup coming for my mk1. So its needless to say i think your ideas are spot on and verrrrry tastey. IMO just having 2 lamps look better..... i know its a comment to start a riot but they just are soooo much cooler! IMO the 4 lamps make the grill look busy and cluttered. But yes, defs the badgeless mk2 style grill FTW

well.. i found a zender kit for sale... really having it hard to find whats different compared to the bbs kit, only thing i can tell is the lines on the front spoiler taper off whereas the BBS kit just stop at the end, also the bbs flares have a boxyness shape to them, whereas the zender one looks like oversized GTI flares

your absolutely spot on mrlex. Twin headlight grills are just way too busy for the front end of a mk1. Makes the dam car look cross eyed or something!
