  • when you roll the arch, you only really need to do the top bit of the arch, which means there should be some arch lip for attach the GTI flare too still. Don't forget to chop out the corropsonding part on the arch so that doesn't rub too.

I think it looks better without them though

    • cut tabs,

Make sure you got the side mountings left as is, and bash the inner bit up.
Hard to explain on here, but thats what i did anyway. and cut away same part on the flare.

      • i'm gonna run smaller spacers on the back.. the 5mm ones you gave me instead of 12mm.. that should give me plenty of space

you don't need bigger drums. The car weighs less than a ton for goodness sake! Not needed imo.

                    • mmm probs, i'm just jealous for now, having a low'n'slow bus, brakes aren't a high priority. but i must say, the speed in which i can corner has increased dramatically since these coilovers went in. i LOVE fanging around tight little suburbs or estates and feeling the grip!! i think maybe i might be after some big thick sway bars.. ideas??

                              • Hey mate, Couple of Q's

What brand Coilovers are you running, how are they?
                                Have you rolled your arches?
Who recon your bumpers and howmuch? Did you already have your end caps or did you buy them?

                                Thanks!!!

                                Phil
