cheers guys. What do we think of it without guards? I really like guards but had to take em off due to scraping. Will roll guards this weekend so that should help. Now all i gotta do is electricals! Bane.

        • You can just trim the inside lip off the plastic guards.
I'm not a fan of the plastic guard trims with chrome-bumpers. Needs plastic bumpers and GTI decals to make them work I reckon!

That's just my preference though dude. If you like them, trim them up and put them back on.

But the BEST way to do it it with a heatgun, a guardroller and lots of patience...

i've seen them on celica's and civics before. I think they were just a cheap standard wheel that people were smashing on everything in the 90's

                      • The more i see of your car the better the wheels suit it.

You could use white pin-striping tape for the side 'trim' if you want ghetto.

                              • Yeah i had to to stop it scraping so much.. nah i like it alot.. but i need to roll the inner edge flat.. which means nothing to fix the arches to.... i'm sure i will figure something out... if not selling them would be a breeze.. but yeah.. i like the arches! thikn its cool on chrome bumpers.. very different.. keen to help me knock up some roof racks with me sometime stevey? i have the steel frame.. just gotta chose some nice light colour wood for the planks and varnish them up nicely then work out a system of being able to attach them and then take them off the car.. cause i'm not keen for permanent ones.. ideas?
