  • Whereabouts - MK1 Turbo from Tas

There was a Mk1 Golf 1.8T from TAS for sale between 6-8 months ago. Does anyone know the whereabouts or who was the previous owner. Any threads or info would be great. I'm getting itchy keys again..

No one bought the car so (I think) he was selling bits off it, ie, wheels, brakes...

I think that with that kind of car, you need to promise your self you will never sell it because you will never make the money back. not in this country anyway... europe or the usa maybe

Be a shame to strip it very nice car inside and out only one i know of in Aus with 20v turbo and a gti to boot, when i saw it on ebay a while back had $15k on it with reserve not met, alot of money i know but would cost you more to do the same built trust me i know this with my new build!

The thing i find with a car like that and this community being so small is it'll always be known as "Joe blows old car" never yours if you can fork out $15k and live with the tag thats fine but it gets old ive been there to.
