      Hi All This is a link to my pics hope you like them. My car is a 1980 GLD, now a 2litre Audi with a 4 speed box, top mount webber, koni adjustables, Spax springs, Holden VP Front Brakes and Slotted Rotors the car rides on a low profile simmex tyres an i'm mean very low. This car went from 13" wheels to 14"x5 to now 15"x7s. I am yet to colour code the bumpers, front grill an broow an the side mirrors. This car has been built for the Brisbane Mt Cotton Hill Climb. My first race with her will be the 4th of September.

      I raced tonight agaist 2 Honda Civics with VTECS an i won so i guess its going GOOD. LOL

                It went really well in the end, but took ages to get the sort of performance I was after. Mainly because the people doing it had no experience with VWs.

                The Mk1 has a similar ABF engine spec ready, minus the throttle bodies. I'd gathered a few bits to turbo it, but can't afford it yet by the time I factor in big radiators etc etc etc :roll:

                  forget the turbo and go for the old school throttle bodies no engine suits a mk1 better than a 16v on dual carbies or bodies in my opinion

                        The wheels are badged Intra, but yeah, they're all made by the same people in Germany - nicely spotted!!

                            Love the Seat. looks Badass

                            Here are my 2.



                            Mk2 jetta daily Driver. Finally sorted the gearlinkages and engine mounts. Flies Now and lower too!



                            And the Mk1 project car, will have a 16v engine and box bolted in as soon as i get a clutch spring.

                              thanks for the kind words. the cars going great. still waiting to get a thumbs up or anything from a fellow enthusiast...

                              rims and rubber isnt far away. when i sell my old car (1987 pulsar, wana buy it??? ) ill look into getting some.

                              ahh u got those intra's from carshine didnt ya?? ill have to give em a call one day, and see wat theyve got for me

                              i bet that seat sounded grouse!
