    That'll do it ever time. sounds like the timing is off still though, just fiddle with the distributor till it runs nicer, and then get it timed with a strobe.

        clockwise retard, anticlockwise advance...

        you can figure it out too... just look at hte leads on the dizzy, and which plug they go to. the firing order is 1342... that gives you the correct direction of rotation.

        for a bodgy timing method, turn the dizzy until it idles fastest and smoothest (make sure vaccum advance disconnected and plugged) and then retard about 10degrees.

          Cheers mate.

          Just found it in manual, took some reading just to find that damn answer haha

          Ahhwell, ill have fiddle tomorrow to get it more drivable, then off to workshop next week for the tune and service
