  • Tas Mk1's!

After looking at all the other threads asking what mk1's live where, I thought it'd be worth while making one for Tassie!

So if you've got, or had a mk1 of any sort whack up a pic (or pics) of your prized beast.

    I'll make a start,

01/1976 2dr swallowtail (it's for sale if anyone doesn't know!!)

My old mk1. Not actually in Tassie anymore (in Brisbane) but I have a feeling it will be making its way back south sometime soon.

Just to keep it in watercooled theme, here is a photo of it outside the local VW dealership, having a look at a New Beetle

Thanks to all those who had their cars on display. Unfortunately no Mk1 Golfs A couple of lovely old Beetles, though

I'm getting itchy palms for a 72-ish Beetle or Mk1 Golf - only in original condition, though. I was half hoping to find one today...

                            PS. Love your Beetle, Des

I really liked the green beetle that bloke had there,

You could see he had put a lot of heart and soul into restoring it,

My mk1 was in Kirksway place, I don't think anyone would want to see it with the bumper half fallen off though.
