I won this Mk1 for my friend on Ebay its a 2 Door 79 GLS in Bali Green with a 1600. Plans in the pipeline are dished rims, supercharger, 76 goodies (a la Raus) and Slammed. Has a bit of rust but was resprayed a while back, it needs a new front guard, passenger door, and hatch. Once finished it will be awesome!

I've seen a few '79 2 doors floating around on the forum -where do these come from? VW never sold '79 2 doors - are they all private imports?
