picked up my car from camden GTI last night. diesel 4 speed, fresh clutch plate and webber carby? check! mmm finally a little bit of torque steer from this mofo
yep. this is... was the only auto car i've ever bought. i'd been driving for like 5 years before i drove my first automatic.. i didn't know what to do, my mate was in the car.. i had to ask. "do i just put it in D?" haha.
i need to either extend the shifter or find a way to lower the seating position as i have to hunch over to reach the stick!
I know what you mean about seats and gearstick. Im 6.3 and i got lower seats in car, but im still hunched over to change gears!!
I just have seat forward more, squishy but ohwell
I know right! I drove mine for the first time last week and it felt so little! How sick would a real tall shifter be! Like so the knob is up level with bottom of the steering wheel haha! It would be mint. Like driving a bus! Totally bags that idea!!

That looks really good, even with the Mk2 rims I liked!
With the gear stick, you could always get a bit of rod the same diameter and have someone with access to some Tap & Dye sets cut some thread either end and just extend it that way... It would suit the rat look if that's what you are going for...
I have quite a few Mk1s coming out my rear, and haven't started on one yet mate, you're doing a top job, keep it up! Now to find some doors for my 3-door....
Too many dubs to mention.... Erika (2008 Mk5 GTi - Graphite Blue, DSG, Leather, Xenons, RNS510) Matilda (1991 Triton Flat Tray - White, 5sp Man, Vinyl Bench, Radio)

i got some wheels redrilled for my silvia and spoke to the guy about getting the ssrs widended.. will probably cost about $190 per wheel... or if the centre piece bolt pattern is the same as bbs or simmonds i can get new inner and outer hoops and step up to 15 inch with custom offset. didn't even ask for a price on that... need to check out the bolt pattern on a bbs wheel. i'd love to fill the rear wheel arches a bit more.

The meshies you got for your S13, did you consider selling them to an old-school Mazda guy, and buying another set? You probably could've even made money that way, because there's so few good wheels around in 4x110.
