  • Favorite colour from a mk1?

    What is your favorite colour for a mk1??

    It doesn't have to be an original colour...could be any sort.

    Post up some pictures if possible with your favorite colour on a mk1.

    Just doing this to see what is the most popular colour for a mk1.

    Black, then white.

    To me it fits with the age of the car and also brings some class to it.

                  my favorite colour is off white, pretty sure it was a factory colour. not the tan kinda one but the off white.

                  this is probably not the factory colour but it's close to what i'm thinking of

                      yeah i like the classic white...like a cream sort of colour. Very nice for a classic car.

                          Yep, white is good, doesn't date (but maybe a touch boring). I also like some of the original factory colours such as kermit green (GLD any one?). They kind of date the golf but in a good way.
