  • G'day all

Hey guys, just stumbled across your forum, thought i'd say g'day

I'm kinda new to the vintage car scene, owned an R31 skyline and an ED Fairmont, but i just picked up my new toy 2 days ago (pics are links for fear of size):

    Front

    Rear

    Interior 1

    Interior 2

It's a '79, unsure what model, 1600 4 speed, as you see it is how it came (except for fluffy dice ), needs a bit of work, the paintjob isn't the best but it passes the metre test, as far as i can tell both front brakes and a wheel bearing are shot, and the motor is a bit rough, but runs a lot better now after a decent service.

Hope you guys like it I know nothing about VW's so i think you'll be seeing me around here asking really dumb questions, hope you dont mind

ausmk1, I'm in burwood east, where are you?

Thanks for the support guys, i was a little unsure with my purchase, but now that i've given it a service it's running much healthier, plus looking over your for sale forum, I dont think i'll have too many issues with parts. Thanks again
