  • Favorite VW Colour

Right Guys, what is everyones favorite Golf or VW colour?
I`ll start the ball rolling and say VW Oak Green, closely followed by Dragon Green.

When I can load pics, I`ll post examples of each.

        Well...Maybe not!

"Images can indeed be shown in your posts. However, there is no facility at present for uploading images directly to this board. Therefore you must link to an image stored on a publicly accessible web server, e.g. http://www.some-unknown-place.net/my-picture.gif. You cannot link to pictures stored on your own PC (unless it is a publicly accessible server) nor to images stored behind authentication mechanisms such as Hotmail or Yahoo mailboxes, password-protected sites, etc. To display the image use either the BBCode [img] tag or appropriate HTML (if allowed)."

So, if you have an ISP you will have server space on which you can store pictures. The address may be something like: http://home.iprimus.com.au/loony
Upload you image there and them use the image or URL tags to point to it.

            Mk1 diesel 1980

Please clarify "Olf Skool". I see it a lot on forums. My 1980 diesel was fat bumper and Mars Red (how I loved her!) Is that "Olf Skool" or does it have to be chrome bumpers? Personally, I prefer the chrome bumpers and if it wasn't for spoiing opiginality, I'd fit them to my present diesel (which probably isn't "Olf Skool" 'cos it has fat bumpers and is silver!

and now after getting together a few pics its gotta have small fat stretched wheels that is actually one of the key ingredient plus a bit of chrome i guess

                        Polo in Golf Clothing

The dark green car (oak green I believe) is actually a polo, not a Golf. The back pillar is a different shape and the grill is different. They were even smaller than a golf and came with a 1, 1.1, or 1.3 engine. The green one is a Mk3 and could be the supercharved g40 variant.
