      car pictures

The car on stands half way through the build

Test fitting of seat with old seat in place to set driving position

      New seat looks the part

The cage begins to go in

The "little engine" awaiting it's fate with some special gear inside

Grille and brake activation rods begin to go in

        getting there slowly

Drivers side doors going on and new seals and windows beginning to be fitted (doors are all early model items which contain no side intrusion bars to save weight)

Both seat frames built and bolted in place, harnesses getting installed

Centre console and dash wiring under way

The front cage now fully installed and door bars fitted

            more bars

Still more bar shots, nice and solid

Drivers side bars, still room to get in and out

New badges for the hatch and new tail lights

Dash fully rebuilt with all new switches and warning lights and speedo reset to zero for the ground up rebuild

Remote battery cut installed into new glovebox (it hurt drilling that hole into a new glove box!)

              New head lining finished

Co-driver side doors all fitted with new seals and glass (next month i'm changing them out for plexiglass)

                Engine slipped into place

                WIring the old girl up

15 x 7" Ronal motor sport rims yet to be fitted with 225 x 50 x 15 Kumho V70A race tyres. Big thanks to Dom and Tim for the rims. The give the car a nice fat look.

more pics to come as she nears completion. Entered in Targa west next week and still needs the windscreen and back hatch glass in, new suspension bolted and numerous body mouldings and tid bits to get it 100% those in WA should come watch Targa West in 7 days.

why are parts of the cage bolt in?

                  cheers
