  • MK1 Mouldings and GTI flares

What do people use to make their body mouldings come up like new on Mk1's?

What do people use for GTI flares as well?

I used to use AutoGlym bumper care. Work's a treat & stay's on there for several month's depending on what you use to clean your car.

                  Diluted tyre black

75/25 paint to water. Been using it for years. If it's diluted it doesn't leave any brushmarks

If they are really grey, a hot air gun brings them up good before using some other kind of treatment.

Thanks for the support Aydan. Its true. OLD plastics will not get new looking no matter what cleaning products you hit em with. That is why I use satin black paint. Makes old crappy plastics look like new lovely plastic
