Hi all, have been slack posting up pics of my new Mk1, but been busy







Apologies for the poor quality, my phone cam was all i had at the time. Pinky's been sitting in the garage ever since waiting for me to have time to start on him.

finally had a chance to play with the golf.

man.. i tell you what. whoever flled the golf up with 5 litres of oil... had no idea. the oil was blacker than the stuff thats pumped out of the ground.

Car drives a lot better. will drive even better when i fix the exhaust manifold.

Front grill was taken off (along with all other black bits) and given and sand back and new coat of black.. looks much better

Seats with their uncomfortable rips in all the wrong places were taped up and the seat covers put back on.

Overall the cars looking and driving a bit better.

Will be taking photo's tomorrow and i'll post em up.

It seems that us Canberrans are getting the golf bug! (tortology!) I drove it in to work today, went fairly well. need to get another tyre and fix the exhaust though. the newly painted black bits look nice though.
