Hi all.
hopefully this might be useful to a few people. I removed the trim off the inner arches [interior side] & was left with this old glue, similar stuff is found under the door rubbers & things above the door cars. Previous experience has taught me that scraping and sanding is an option but obviously very harmful to the paint work.
So I used this product. $10 from Bunnings. bit of muscle & a rag and hey presto, the gunk comes off. It's not a perfect thing, it requires a fair bit of time & muscle but its' worth it if you don't want harm the paint. [disclaimer]Having said that, it may rub a tiny bit of the paint off, but nothing a bit of a polish wouldn't cover & fix.
