  • new canopy?

Hi guys, I just brought another Mk 1 golf ls but this one is a convertable... It is canary yellow, has three spoke gold wheels with brand new tyres and has 2 6" speakers and a amp...

My question is does anyone know where to buy a new canopy thing? It does have the tonneau cover but not the actual roof, and also anyone know where to get a recon motor, as this one is missing a head etc...

    Thanx...

        Is it a factory cabrio?

        Where are you based?

What engine number is the car?

More info makes it easier to help you.

It may be a "Home made Convertible" as the first Golf Cabriolet prototype was designed in December 1976, with the production models manufactured late 1978 - early 1979.

            Do you have a photo?

More butchered mk1's converted into cabrio's here than genuine cabrio's..

76LS is definately an axe jobbie.

Best you could likely do is to go see an auto upholsterer and get ready for a shock.
              Lots of MK 1 Scirocco's...

If it aint a MK 1 then it must be a donor car ??

              Cheers,
