  • Exhaust Recommendation?

Hey all, I've got a mk1 that I want to put a performance exhaust on. Any body got any recommendations on a good exhaust guy? I live in Melbourne and not looking to spend heaps of cash.
    Cheers

theres a good number of southerners on here that'll be able to help you out i'm sure - but the case is that hte mk1 has such a simple system, any half reasonable exhaust shop ought to be able to sort you out well enough.

good luck. is your mk1 the one in your avatar? pics?

THere's a mob in ringwood. I think ringwood exhausts, I've heard they do alright stuff.

Dalder exhausts in boxhill used to be good, but now just overprice in some people's opinions.

I used waverly exhausts. nothing fancy just a shop that i found really.

expect to pay around 300-350 for a MS 2" straight through inc straight through rear muffler and resonator. from extractors back. pay more for fully flanged etc etc.

Thanks for that. Ringwood Performance Exhaust were who I was going to use initially – heard they were good + plus gave cheap quote. Rand Daalder on Tues, they were overpriced and not helpful (what is it with businesses having no time for customers?).
(yes that is my golf in the avatar, although pics are old – has been lowered since, more pics coming soon!)
        Thanks all
