Bad morning - help required

So this morning I had our hot water fail. No shower and upset I went to work.

Then on the way to work some panel beating occurred.



So I am wondering who has a spare headlight lying around so at least I am legal again.

The rest of the damage, well, we will have to see how the other half feels about me when I get home as to if I get to keep the car or I get told to get rid of it.

Sorry to hear about this.

by the looks of it, a new bonet, grill, fender and light, with a little bit of a pull, and it'll be back to how it was.

Ouch!! Those damn MK1 brakes, huh? I was able to source a brand new headlight a while back easily and for not too much $$. So that's an option if no one has a spare.

if you can... start finding rust free parts as of now!

Looking at it, I think it has more of a boser feel to it now...

just change the bonnet and headlight and keep driving it most mk1 look like that these days but it will keep working.

Are the single grill headlights the same as the double grill? If so ive got 2 spare headlights i could send to ya for nothing!

The outside ones are the same AFAIK - I will confirm - thanks for the offer - feeling so much less anxious now as to before.
