      Ahh the Pictars

Hey guys well I finally found the camera lol, so here are the pics in order I think, and a little time line of how it is now.

Still sitting on the trailer from the night before, we got back at like 11:30pm all we wanted to do was sleep.

Engine I was amazed to see how clean it was actually lol.

Interior is very pimp lol but it ain't to bad. Newly reupholstered seats front and back. And also floor, the dash has a little wear and tear but thats ok.

      Seats still work.

Spare tyre was put to good use, but thats all its really good for its got pretty chatty tyres on them.

      Pimping it!!!

And the money shot, and yes they are pj pants rolled up as shorts.

The first order was to see that it was really ok in the engine bay and not knowing to much about mk1s I didn't want to overstep my boundaries lol.

So I just gave it a rough clean and really just looked at my engine bay cause I still couldn't believe I bought a mk1 lol.

Next was to get rid of the front washer jets and the crappy corroded hose they wre sitting in, it had green **** all through and almost vomited on myself when it went all over my face lol.

        So they got removed.

Then got the car off the trailer and returned it and then I wanted to do a few cosmetic mods.

I don't have a photo but the end image is all cleaned up with the GTI red strip around edging.

Next was the headlights, and well I'll let photos speak for themselves.

Even though they still worked the left headlight looked like it had a bullet hole in it

So I changed it with one from Loon cheers mate!

Ohmage to the mk1 wiring system lol.

Under the dash there is a panel and well that was attacked next!

Glued up ad sealed to look a little presentable.

More pics tonight guys, I have done abit more obviously but its getting there, my brakes and engine tune are getting done saturday and hopefully it passes blue slip!

Thanks Velly, yeah the motor is good I think it needs a tune up it sounds like its running on 2 stroke, even though the guy said its been tuned

No I still reckon I will be able to make greece but its either that or a deposit on a property and thats what I am leaning towards kinda.

Well the guy when he was transporting it from his workshop to his house ran out of fuel and all he had with him at the time was 2 stroke oil

He put petrol into it when he made it to a servo but its got like 5 litres of 2 stroke in there, and even though we have had it running for like 3 hours tops and driven it around the block a few times it sounds like feels like it moves but wants to move more, I think it still has some 2 stroke in it lol

Is there a plug underneath the tank, I know this is very basic but I have no idea
