    well its home!!
first thing i need to say is, wow those std mk1 brakes are terrible!!!
    although.

nothing happened!!!, 4,000rpm all the way home, didnt skip a beat not once! shifts perfect everytime turnes great, absoloutly NO creeks, rattles, and grinds ANYWHERE!!, I found 1 vibration about 15min into the drive, spend 30min pushing every panel on the dash to see if it stops....
turns out it was the keys rattling against eachother hahhahahahh
    this car is beyond A1!!
the previous owner used to polish inside the boot between the strut towers!

comes with orig pioneer radio and orig 4 speaker system ALL WORKING!

the only issue is the tyres are 40,000klm old and they feel like plastic when going around sweeping bends at 40kph, pretty scary experience 10min into driving it home

it has numerous awards 1st place... best of show! ect ect

it also has the orig sales docket from the 1st owner buying it for $6,xxx on the 11/11/1977!!! pretty cool to see!!

so yeah im off to work but ill post pics after work

    cheers
    dom

I doubt that ! Check out Antdragonist's latest acquisition .They keep turning up.We seem to appreciate and value them more over here.I think the average age for any car is a lot older in Tassie and one main reason for that would be no annual registration checks and the more laid back lifestyle.

As for mods Dom go for it within reason and well done on your purchase.
It certainly is very very neat.

Nice buy mate, good to hear you aren't doing anything too drastic to this one, just a nice clean and simple dd.

Are you going to get a car-bra like on the green one posted a couple of pages back? just to save from the general crap on the roads.

                            There not bump stop's.

They're front strut mount's, that actuall mount the front strut's to the car with bearing's. Totally different thing's.
