    My first car i ever owned was a mrk1 golf 76 LS and i drove that car (AFTER MUCH MUCH WORK) from mudgee to the gold coast and back (2000Kms for schoolies with a pair of vice grips holding the tapet cover down i will attach pics of my ride at the time

      My first ever car was the MK1 1976 golf LS Auto which i worked for 6.5 years on the car looking for parts and restoring the body and engine when i was 11 i got the car and fully restored the vechile at the age of 15 it was fully resprayed and worked Which i carried out myself with photos to prove. It was my pride and joy i can't figure out how to put pics up as im a new member but by the age of 17 i registered the beast 5 months later i got booked or speeding in the girl but i carried on. can someone help me i want to get he pics up

            the trim line on the door panels etc - looks like its been bogged up and made to be pointy.

            i would guess that someones put a lot of fibre fil in the car (not necessarily to cover up rust) for cosmetic reasons.

              Yeah this is so. It is a bit of a prick actually they have done that as I would prefer not to have it like that.

              When I bought it I had no idea what I was looking at so was unsure about this mod.

                  So Hellga was passed on today to a new home. Her new life down the track will be as a conversion to a GLD.

                  Was a bit sad driving her for the last time, in the last 2 weeks with a new carb from Dubai_GTI I have to say, it was running better than ever.
