Mk5 2.0L TDI Sump replacement

    Tried it, and no joy. the 250mm wobble extension bar and the 10mm socket (both in 1/4") just won't get in there to purchase. I could either try a 5mm ball end on the end of the wobble ext bar, or i need to turn the crank.

    What size socket for the crank? 23mm?

      Either 19mm or 21mm. Can't remember which.

            Epic fails all along the way, but job done.

            Tips:-
            19mm 12 pt socket for turning the crank
            definitely hand-crank the engine to move the notches in the flywheel to where you can access the two nasty bolts
