First start jerking BKD diesel golf with 6sp DSG

The engine in this car jerks back and forth only on start up
All mounts are in good condition and have been checked
Ive searched the web with no luck on finding a definitive answer on the issue. I know in the past I've heard of this issue but I cannot remember exact cause. Any one out there that can shed some light in this issue?

Usually quite normal...but the suffer from slow cranking starter motors..this causes the engine to splutter and bounce around on start up and sometimes stall. Check the battery is good if it is then you need someone with Vcds to check the starter motor crank speed with the main injector plug disconnected..crank speed should be 280rpm or more...if not the starter motor is stuffed....mine does the same and starter speed is around 200 but Im not that bothered about it and the starter can stay for now.
