Golf 1.9 TDI Problems

Hi all

My daughter's got her heart set on a TDI Golf. We had one in in our sights, an August 2006 build, but it ended up as a storm damaged write off, so we're not getting it. I've got the 2006 Jetta and absolutely love it.
Are there any obvious problems with the 1.9 that I should be aware of? She wants the auto.

Nope. The 1.9 is the most hassle free of the PD (unit injector) engines.
