Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

i was under the impression they're only not guaranteed because aussie biodiesel is crap... the same reason they didnt bring diesels in for ages until we got some descent diesel standards. its only a matter of time before we catch up with the rest of the world dw

I couldnt bring myself to run a new car on biodiesel, if i was to do it would defo be on something a bit more agricultural and less sophisticated that the new breed of TDi's had contemplated running my 99 freelander on it, but i had enough hassles with it without tempting fate any more.

The quality of the fuel that comes out is directly relative to the knowledge and effort that goes in.
