Clunking noise at start up.

Oh, all the things I wish I knew before buying. Wonder what a new clutch/flywheel kit will cost me when/if it goes...

I suppose it would be a good time to uprate it and get the engine mapping tweaked...

how did you end up going with that ?

Im posting because i recently filled up with diesel from a known "bad fuel" Shell outlet (a few cars had gotten fuel with as much as 50% water mixed in with them etc .... which i found out later) and developed a loud clunking on cold start up which slightly went away but not really, as it reached operating temperature.
at first i thought it was a knock but then was confused as its a diesel lol.

Anyhow it got louder as the tank emptied out .. i waited until pretty much almost empty and filled with Caltex Vortex diesel from my usual and its completely disappeared .. !
