Looks hot! Where did you get your TDI badge with the red I from by the way? Forgot to ask you the other day. How's it running with the new flap motor?

badge was off dads old transporter, i have a 2.0 TDI with red d and i on its way. going to spray the silver parts matte black, and smoke the 3rd brake light and side indicator lenses too, with spray not film. flap motors good, prevent not so good, had to take it off until i can get an apr intake, also I'm going to do an egr delete.

Thanks man. Gonna do a few more things before Uni starts. Colour code the door handles. Fit a gti rear valance with stainless tips and get the cat and muffler removed. Timing belt is due soon too

as for the build I've only got a couple more things to do, most of them simple cheap but time consuming.

i need to get a gti valance picked up from sydney, paint it myself, then take it to an exhaust place get them to cut the cat and muffler out and make up tips for the valance.

I'm going to paint my door handles silver,

pull the wheels off, and restore and paint them gunmetal or matte black.

do an egr delete, and get the revo software retuned with the carbonio, decat, and egr delete.

Awww, no turbo or injector (and or nozzle) upgrade?

How are you going to do the EGR delete?

Save your money with the carbonio unless you just want to hear the intake more

no nozzles or turbo
the car has 220km on it, so not going to spend 3k on a turbo and 1k on injectors on an engine that age.
just gonna cruise, im driving about 100k 5 days a week now,
so the ks are just gonna keep rackin

I've dropped the carbonio idea. Pro vent has found another spot. I'm going to get the darkside egr delete pipe. And get my revo dealer to code out the check engine light. I just looked into nozzles and I might head down that path too. Only about 400 bucks and a weekend by the looks of it. Might be worth doing. I'd be best doing nozzles and egr delete at the same time so I only need one retune.

I've ordered the dark side kit myself. Probably didn't need to though as blocking plates would have worked fine. You can even just ask your tuner to make the EGR function at bare minimum.

Have you had a crack at cleaning your egr/asv/intake? That's my next job...

egr and asv have been cleaned/ replaced in the last 20km did the asv a couple of weeks ago and the egr is still very clean.
i can't remember i think i did get the tuner to code out the egr as much as he could.

id still like to kill it completely though.
the part is only like 150 bucks anyway
