Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

        TT/S3 Front BRakes

        I'm negotiable on the price.

Oh also a little bit of an update.

Spent the morning down at my sponsors Performance Suspension fitting rear sway-bar and chilling out with the guys.

Here are some of the photos.

The TT front brakes are amazing even with standard rotas and pads. Had them on my Mk1 Skoda Fabia and stopped it dead. Huge improvement over standard

How you finding the Whiteline Rear ARB and what setting do you have it on?

Ive heard even on the hardest setting its just not stiff enough

I have no weight in the back of my car so it probably effects it more than most people. I have it sitting on Medium and I can notice an improvement but it certainly does need to go harder so I am going to try and chuck it up on hard and see how it goes. I have a gymkhana on Sunday so will see how it goes then.

Sick so this is a lazy update, started pulling the door cards and crap out, left the key in the ignition so flat battery. Can't wind the rear windows down to finish pulling them out. Once I can be bothered putting it on charge I'll get them out take them down and have some polycarb windows made.

Just need to pull out the aircon and a few other bits and pieces and the weight reduction is done for the moment.

Still waiting on a few parts to turn up. I hate this waiting game.

              Double up so shoot me

Are you going the whole way with stripping it out?
