Looking to buy a diesel golf, concerned by all the forum content regarding DPFs. Does the Mk6 2.0 103 TDI have one? Thanks

EVERY MK6 diesel has a DPF. It has to because of the latest Euro 6 emission rules. You will find this across virtually all manufacturers. In the MKV only the GT TDI had one. On the upside common rail will be kinder to the DPf, as it meters the fuel more precisely, so is likely to produce less soot. If you do go down the path, get a Provent 200 fitted from new and maintian the inner filter. If you get a manual learn to drive carefully below 1700rpm, preferably mostly above that. DSG will cater for it by changing down when required.2014 Skoda Yeti TDI Outdoor 4x4 | Audi Q3 CFGC repower | Darkside tune and Race Cams | Darkside dump pDPF | Wagner Comp IC | Snow Water Meth | Bilstein B6 H&R springs | Rays Homura 2x7 18 x 8" 255 Potenza Sports | Golf R subframe | Superpro sways and bushings | 034 engine mounts | MK6 GTI brakes |
