  • CAI on a MK5 Golf GT Sport

Put a BMC CAI in on the weekend.

    It's a bit of a Frankenstein.

The BMC is from a GTI. The bracket is from bunnings, the metal pipe for the vacuum tube is from Derek and the rubber connecting sleeve is from a ModShack housing (which is for sale if you're keen) Will try and get some black silicon hose in the future

The fitment is just as strong as GTom's bought one and similiar volume. The car pulled noticably harder on the M4 this morning. Is niiice!

Has it solved the stutter problem you were having??

Also, if there's any way you can get the BMC scoop that bolts onto the over radiator duct and seals the filter to the outside, I'd suggest this in itself is the biggest thing for response. Check Toms pics for the part I mean, highly recommend selling your liver for one.

        Hey Greg.

Yeah it has stopped the stutter. The modshack let a lot more air in, so the off boost shudder is there a tiny bit compared to.

Well I installed Tom's one and there is no scoop for the radiator duct. It's just a pipe that sits flush like mine.

I would love to have the same as the forge clamp but they don't sell them separately.
