fellow vdubbers!
I am just letting you guys know how quick the mk5 Tdi is! very suprised by how hard it pulls,bucket loads of torque and SO quiet inside!!! I was always sceptical with the diesels even though ive seen all the figures,now that ive driven it(ive got it till tuesday as im taking it the NATS for milan from TCCA).I think ive found my next GOLF(not yet!!! hehe)

Mesh grille

I like the mesh grille! I've seen them advertised on ebay and have given it some thought. When some $$ come my way it and colour coding will be next.

Surprised at the diesel's performance? Lots of people are so you're not alone.

you can also get the full honey comb ones (like the gti's) as well.. theres a few, check ebay.co.uk sometime too! the mesh/honey comb ones (badgeless) look is the way to go!

was it quicker than your mk4?
