I'm the owner of a 2003 T4 TDI with Auto.
I've just spent $1700.00 having the transmission fixed.It would develope a terrible shudder when the vehicle reached about 60kph.
It needed a new torque converter.It had done about 98,000kms.
I have since spoken to 2 other TDI owners who have had exactly the same problem.
A mechanic I spoke to yesterday said it's a common problem with T4 VWs
It seems to me that it's possibly a engineering design fault by Volkswagen.
Has anyone else had this problem?
