Who said leaf springs are 1860's technology ? (and yes, I know the latest hi-po Corvette also has leaf springs).the leaf springs are made of glass fibre
It is an interesting design concept (it's been around for a while now), but IMHO if VW would get off their rear end and sell the 3 litre/100km Lupo (sub-Polo size) in a wider range of countries they would probably have more impact on the environment.2017 MY18 Golf R 7.5 Wolfsburg wagon (boring white) delivered 21 Sep 2017, 2008 Octavia vRS wagon 2.0 TFSI 6M (bright yellow), 2006 T5 Transporter van 2.5 TDI 6M (gone but not forgotten). -
