Bio is a problem for DPF regeneration, so if you don't have a GT, and are prepared to run the VW warranty gauntlet, go for it!

Long term, I'll be running Bio.

$1.02 a litre at Caltex, Blunder rd Oxley. A bit better than $1.82 at the same servo around August-September last year.

yeh Im loving the fact that owning a diesel makes even more sense now... I use less fuel and NOW have to pay less for the prevelege!

This doesn't really answer my question, so I'll start a new thread on the topic.

Does the BP Diesel comply with the diesel standard in your owner's manual?
If yes you can use it.
No need to confirm if it has biodiesel in it or not.

The big white boxes (Transporters) have been running DPFs on the 2.5 TDI engines for a couple years now.

Sorry, I was a proof reader several decades ago and I just can't seem to shake the habit

It is useful at times though, picking up discrepancies even when I'm not really looking for them (sometimes I don't know what is exactly wrong, just that the "fact" currently in front of me contradicts some other "fact" I've come across elsewhere).
