Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

    Big pipe

    Today I was unlucky enough to stop at the service station that only had a large diameter filler nozzle. There was no way I could slot it into my car's inlet.

    This worries me, as while there are plenty of nearby options in a city, one might not be so lucky in more remote areas.

    So what options are available to me if I should find myself desperate for fuel and the only diesel outlet has a truck size filler nozzle?

    Carry around a funnel?
