Losing the Scirocco isn't surprising, given they weren't big sellers here and VW has 2 other Golf based 2-doors in the range (Golf Cabrio & Beetle).

Very sad to lose the Up! though - it's the best work runabout I've bought and considering I can almost buy 2 for the price of an entry level Polo it was a huge financial winner too.

Sad, a 'Rocco always turns my head. It was a toss of the coin when I was looking, between my GTI and a lightly used 'Rocco. Still, VW's gotta make money and they might be better off just brining back the 3 door R.

this is actually a little exciting for me haha, less Rocco's on the road
