Comperession flutter

So I recently took delivery of a Scirocco R and have since then added a VWR intake, APR RSC exhaust, APR HPFP, and APR tune. I took the car out for a drive on the highway and noticed that when accelerating in 5th gear during boost, I could hear fluttering coming from the turbo. At first I assumed it was compression surge and I really hope it isn't. Has anyone had any similar problems? My car only has 5000km on the ODO .

Mine does this and I've only got the APR tune and VWR intake.
I asked James at APR about it and he said it was perfectly normal, apparently its the turbo dumping the extra boost or something.

I would be more concerned if you didn't hear it. Any tubular intake makes it more audible - the stock intake muffles it down hugely.

Stock cars do it, tuned cars do it more so don't worry!

my R does it as well I'm running stage 2+ vwr intake. however I heard a big noise after it fluttered in 6th under full load... DSG D mode.it sounded like a hose had blown off something but it's running fine

Ive got that too, forge intake flutter flutter, not to worry a lot of people confuse flutter with turbo surge, all good
