It seems true at least according to Sciroccocentral. Appartently the Roc R no longer appears on any euro Vw website and dealers in the UK can no longer place an order for customers.
It also seems it has to do with the current engine not being Euro 5 (or perhaps 6) compliant so production ceases because non compliant cars cannot be sold new from January 1st 2014 in Europe. Other lesser models not affected as i understand it.
Not sure what impact that has on supplies here but i'm guessing they will also shortly come to an end.
