I found the same issue. I had to adjust both of mine up a little.

Question though, I have found the headlights on my 'Roc to be aimed quite low once they do their auto-levelling and the distance that the beam covers isn't great compared to my previous car. Is there a way of adjusting the focal point? Similar to the adjustment screws of traditional halogen globe headlight assemblies.Scirocco R. Rising blue. Black tallies. Thumbs up.

Thanks for that, I saw this screw but wasn't sure if that was what it was for/didn't want to touch something without knowing for sure.Originally posted by mr gee View Postthe adjustment is the white screw on the lamp assemblyLast edited by Razman10000; 31-01-2013, 10:24 AM.2016 (MY17) Passat 206 RLine - Sedan, White, Sunroof

I recommend you take it to a proper auto electrician to get it professionally adjusted and calibrated using a headlight alignment tool. This will ensure accurate beam cut off points. Mine was way off after I lowered the car.Originally posted by Razman10000 View PostThanks for that, I saw this screw but wasn't sure if that was what it was for/didn't want to touch something without knowing for sure.

 Auto-levelling Headlights

Normally I wouldn't bother if I was just doing springs but I felt that the stock lights out of factory wasn't high enough In the first place. If you adjust yourself ensure you do it in small increments. It doesn't take much.Originally posted by JohnA View Postdamn, didnt even think of that. I noticed my headlights were super bad the other night, i had my high beams on most of my 2 hour trip home.

Luckily it was in the south east of vic and i had lots of bushes between me and the other cars on the other side of the road and it was 11:30 at night so not many peoples around.White Scirocco R

Too low - headlight beams are too short (not shining out far enough)Originally posted by Muri777 View Postbad as in there isn't enough light coming out of it or bad as in its too-low bad…?

Take your car further out of the city and you will see the difference. I do a bit of night driving on my favourite roads and I need to see the Apex a bit better.
